It’s just over a year since Sue’s Sun Salon, formerly located in South Street, relocated to
their new premises in Barnstaple Street where over the past 12 months a major
transformation has been taking place. The Beauty Salon which shares the premises with
G&S Fitness has been undergoing a major facelift both inside and out with new equipment
being installed and improvements made to the building itself.
Owner Sue Luscombe is delighted to welcome two new faces, Leah Hellawell and Sara
Jane Angell, to her team. Leah formerly worked for Tangles in Braunton and prior to that
was an army supply specialist. Beautician Leah offers a complete range of treatments that
includes waxing, facials, Hollywood eyelashes, pedicures, manicures, Minx nails, eyebrow
threads, intimate waxing and all eye treatments.
Sara who is a Beautician as well as a Nail Technician was previously with Naturally
Charlie’s and Sarah Jane Health & Beauty in Barnstaple. Sara’s specialities cover those
offered by Leah apart from the intimate waxing but she also is able to provide nail
extensions. Sara works on a Monday, Wednesday and every other Saturday while Leah
works Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Sue says, ‘Not everyone has yet clicked onto the fact that we’re now located in Barnstaple
Street instead of South Street. My husband Gerald whose accountancy business is now
located in our former premises still gets people calling in for beauty treatments! We’ve
worked extremely hard over the past year to get both the gym and the beauty salon in
shape and the coat of paint and new signage that now adorns the front of our building are
the final touches’.
There is an additional range of beauty treatments available including Minx Toes and callus
peel as well as the ever popular Sun Showers. To introduce South Molton to Leah and
Sara and to celebrate the completion of the building upgrade, Sue’s Sun & Beauty Salon
are running a special offer through July. If you book a pedicure, you’ll receive £5 off a
standard manicure.
Sue’s Sun & Beauty Salon are open 5½ days a week – including all day on Monday’s and
Wednesday’s with 1pm closing on a Saturday. To book an appointment, please telephone
